Longtime Richland High School boys basketball coach Earl Streufert isn’t so sure.

Despite his undefeated Bombers sticking as the season-long No. 1-ranked team in Class 4A, despite three quality out-of-state wins, despite a pair of victories over top-10 Mid-Columbia Conference rival Chiawana — and despite Richland’s 65-53 win over reigning state champion Gonzaga Prep to capture the 4A District 6 championship Friday night at Art Dawald Gymnasium, Streufert isn’t convinced his team will be the No. 1 overall seed in the WIAA tournament.
