TACOMA, Wash. — Mount Tahoma High School football coach Keith Terry is pretty jovial by nature.
But it is the WIAA playoffs. Therefore, it is halftime-speech hurricane season.
Fueled by Terry’s choice words, the second-seeded Thunderbirds snapped out of their first-half funk to pull away for a 42-7 victory over better-than-No. 15 seed Seattle Prep on Friday night at Mount Tahoma Stadium.
