EasternWA notebook: From his first touch, Tri-Cites Prep senior was well on his way to MVP season
Wingback Jameson Elliott is approaching 30 total touchdowns for Jaguars, who are in 2B semifinals for first time in school history

After his first clutch of the football this fall, Jameson Elliott should have had an idea what kind of senior season was in store at Tri-Cities Prep.
He took back a kickoff 80 yards for a touchdown against 2024 state semifinalist Asotin in a nonleague season opener.
Later in the game — a 53-7 Jaguars’ victory — he returned a punt for a touchdown, and caught a pair of passing scores from quarterback Jarrett Garza.
Needless to say, that booming beginning has led to one memorable season — one in which he was named the 2B EWAC East player of the year, leading the Jaguars to their first trip to the WIAA semifinals in the 2B classification.
