After his first clutch of the football this fall, Jameson Elliott should have had an idea what kind of senior season was in store at Tri-Cities Prep.

He took back a kickoff 80 yards for a touchdown against 2024 state semifinalist Asotin in a nonleague season opener.

Later in the game — a 53-7 Jaguars’ victory — he returned a punt for a touchdown, and caught a pair of passing scores from quarterback Jarrett Garza.

Needless to say, that booming beginning has led to one memorable season — one in which he was named the 2B EWAC East player of the year, leading the Jaguars to their first trip to the WIAA semifinals in the 2B classification.
