There aren’t many walking the school hallways built like Parker Mills.

As far back as he can remember, he’s always been the biggest kid in class — which makes him a favorite target among sports coaches.

A first-love basketball player, he’s been asked all the time — why aren’t you playing football, too?

Mills has always laughed it off: “Someday I’ll come give it a try,” he’d respond.

Well, Mills finally did in 2024 at West Valley of Yakima. And in his second season, the 6-foot-6, 290-pounder hopes to make himself one of the state’s most intriguing recruiting prospects as a lineman.
