Like many coaches who graduate sizable senior classes, West Valley of Spokane football coach Craig Whitney wasn’t exactly certain how his returning cast would shake out.

Especially in his playmaking corps.

Through six games, it is safe to say not only have a few players stepped forward as impact offensive players — it is the Eagles’ championship race to lose in the 2A Greater Spokane League.
