TACOMA, Wash. — Tall and bubbly, sophomore Amy Nduka erupted like a mountain of pure joy.

Eastside Catholic had just accomplished what few figured was possible - beat top-seeded and heavily-favored Bellevue in the WIAA Class 3A girls basketball championship game Saturday night in the Tacoma Dome.
