TACOMA, Wash. — And down goes the first No. 1 seed in the Tacoma Dome.

Emerald Ridge, which had never won a WIAA Class 4A playoff game in the destination site, pulled off the tournament stunner Thursday night by defeating KingCo powerhouse Mount Si, 67-62, in the state quarterfinals.
