Graham-Kapowsin's WIAA football playoff path full of stopping run-game bruisers — and now bus rides
Eagles put clamps on Kennedy Catholic's Wing-T offense in 34-7 first-round victory, and now head to Spokane to tangle with Gonzaga Prep
SPANAWAY, Wash. — Still fuming after a mysterious seeding drop, the Graham-Kapowsin Eagles might be benefiting from a little extra motivation at the right time.
The sixth-seeded Eagles got four touchdown passes from sophomore A.J. Tuivaiave on offense, six turnovers forced by their defense and a muffed-kickoff recovery by the special teams in a 34-7 victory over No. 11 seed Kennedy Catholic on Saturday at Art Crate Field.
