TACOMA, Wash. — The game was nervously close, and a murmur started among the home crowd.

Perennial playoff team Lincoln of Tacoma was having one of those off nights recently against Gig Harbor. Nothing in the team-basketball realm was clicking.

That is when a fan started declaring it was “Takeover Time!”
