Abes take down Mount Vernon, 48-14, behind senior Jadeon Scranton's rushing stampede at Lincoln Bowl to advance to state field

TACOMA, Wash. — The weather in November is turning frightful — and that is where Lincoln of Tacoma workhorse running back Jadeon Scranton comes in.

Scranton rushed for a game-high 145 yards and four touchdowns, and an active Abes’ defensive front limited Mount Vernon’s firepower in collecting a 48-14 victory Friday night in the Class 3A state play-in round at Lincoln Bowl.
