Meet small-school star Max Grindy, who has plenty of options — and not a lot of spare time

Grindy just completed his junior year at 1B Almira-Coulee-Hartline, and was the only athlete in Washington to earn a spot on multiple VarsityWA all-state teams

After Almira-Coulee-Hartline’s baseball team was eliminated in the Class 1B quarterfinals May 23, it ended the remarkable three-sport year for 6-foot-4, 210-pound junior Max Grindy.

How good was it?
