After an 0-2 start to his NFL coaching career, New Orleans Saints rookie Kellen Moore spent much of the week in three media sessions talking about progress made toward earning a first victory.

With the Saints making their first road trip of the season to Seattle, one beat reporter snuck in a question Monday about Moore’s homecoming to the state in which he grew up in, starring as the record-setting quarterback at Prosser High School.

Too far to sneak home for a few hours?

The thought of it brought out a chuckle.
