Once again, Lake Stevens finds second-half mojo in topping Bellevue
Much like 2023 comeback, road-warrior Vikings wipe out halftime deficit to stun Wolverines, 21-14
BELLEVUE, Wash. — For the second time in three seasons, Lake Stevens dug out of a second-half hole to topple one of the premier programs in the Class 3A ranks on its home field.
Buoyed by Jayvian Ferrell’s game-high 121 rushing yards and touchdown, and two defensive turnovers after halftime, the third-ranked (4A) Vikings recovered for a 21-14 nonleague victory over the No. 2 (3A) Wolverines at Bellevue Memorial Stadium on Friday night.
