TACOMA, Wash. — There was “Toothgate,” Tyran Stokes’ triple-double - and a fifth installment of the 3A Metro League’s most intense rivalry transpiring Thursday in the Tacoma Dome.

And the end of it all, top-seeded Rainier Beach walked out of the WIAA Class 3A quarterfinals with an 85-68 victory in front of a busier-than-usual morning crowd.
