Reigning 4A boys basketball champion Richland hires Will Burghardt as new coach

Burghardt becomes program's 20th coach in school history, replacing Earl Streufert, who retired in April

If it was another coaching job, Will Burghardt might be able to roll into town virtually unnoticed and go about his business.

That is not the case here: Burghardt, 27, was announced Thursday as the next boys basketball coach at Richland High School.
