There is a new No. 1 team beginning in 2026, plus midseason most valuable players named for each program in the Top 10.
After three seasons as a club sport, girls flag football was approved by the WIAA last spring to become the state’s newest sanctioned sport.
This winter, 80-plus schools are fielding a varsity girls flag football teams, aiming to reach the state championships held Feb. 13-14 at Federal Way Memorial Stadium.
