After winning his 13th career WIAA title at Montesano, Pat Pace is state coach of the year
VarsityWA is releasing its 2026 spring all-classification all-state team for Washington high school softball, which also includes the overall player and coach of the year, and classification most valuable players.
The statewide team covers all WIAA classifications, and 24 different schools were represented in the selections.
Criteria for the all-state selections is largely based on individual accomplishments — including statistics and league honors — and team success, particularly in the postseason. Input from coaches and media was also heavily considered:
