Ethan DeJong, Sedro-Woolley boys basketball: Against a pair of ranked 2A Northwest Conference foes, DeJong had 33 points (14-of-22) in a win over Sehome, and 27 points (11-of-20) in a win over Burlington-Edison.
Dawson Hintz, Lynden Christian boys basketball: In the annual rivalry extravaganza, the guard poured in a game-high 32 points — 22 coming in the second half — as the Lyncs topped Lynden. His buzzer-beating 3-pointer gave his team a halftime lead.
Adrik Jenkin, Colfax boys basketball: Locked in a tight battle with No. 2 Northwest Christian of Colbert, the senior scored 46 points — 21 coming in the fourth quarter (6-of-6) — as No. 1 Colfax won a 2B Northeast crossover showdown.
Mylee LaComb, Stanwood girls basketball: When you are on — you’re on. And LaComb was from the perimeter, canning a school-record 10 3-pointers and scoring a career-high 30 points in the Spartans’ Wesco win over Marysville-Pilchuck.
Davion Shareef-Dulaney, Lincoln of Tacoma boys basketball: Sophomore was unstoppable with a career-high 42 points and 22 rebounds in the Abes’ 3A PSL road victory over rival Mount Tahoma. It was his second 40-point game of the season.
