Vote for VarsityWA's Football Athlete of the Week, Week 1
There were a few big passing performances on opening weekend — none bigger than Moses Lake senior Brady Jay's career-high 473 yards against Oak Harbor

Some of the state’s best players wasted no time getting their 2025 seasons started in a big way with big individual performances during the first week of the Washington high school football season.
Here are 10 standouts up for VarsityWA’s Football Athlete of the Week voting after Week 1:
Colton Adams, King’s: Against out-of-state Christian High School (Calif.), the Knights’ signal caller passed for 237 yards and three touchdowns, and rushed for another 137 yards and a pair of scores in a 42-35 victory.
