EasternWA notebook: Kittitas on march toward another run to WIAA football playoffs

A year after going 9-2 and losing to Adna in the first round of the 2B playoffs, the Coyotes are in full control of EWAC West this fall

For a long time, Kittitas High School football coach Dusty Hutchinson knew the special make-up of last season’s senior group.

Led by 1,000-yard running back Ronan Stewart and quarterback Terrance Huber III, the Coyotes won their first eight games in the 2B EWAC before running into eventual state champion Tri-Cities Prep in the league championship game — and losing to Adna in the WIAA playoffs to finish 9-2.
