Fresh off a one-on-one interview with WIAA executive director Mick Hoffman on Monday, one of the topics was assessing the Gridiron Classic partnership between the state’s governing body for high school sports and the University of Washington, which has hosted the state football championships the past three seasons.

In short, Hoffman gave the relationship a big thumbs-up.
