ORTING, Wash. — Wrestling is the stable provider of some of the most dramatic and tension-filled moments in high school sports.

So, it was no wonder the ubiquitous Jody Coleman put on his promoter’s hat this week to sauce up the final home dual match of the season — his four-time defending Class 2A champion Orting Cardinals taking on the two-time 4A champion Tahoma Bears — as the “unofficial all-classification” state championship showdown.
