The first season of WIAA girls flag football is near the goal line.

It is the regional round of the state playoffs.

Sixteen teams in Class 3A, 12 teams in 4A and eight teams in 2A/1A will battle it out Saturday for a berth to “final four” weekend Feb. 13-14 at Federal Way Memorial Stadium.

Here is the schedule of the regional matchups in all three classifications Saturday — with a look at the top seed and players to watch, and which teams are predicted to advance to Federal Way.
