RICHLAND, Wash. — As a pitcher, Adam Eaton never threw a no-hitter in the major leagues during the decade in which he played for five different teams. But he did during his senior season at Snohomish High School.
Eaton’s view was much different Saturday as a first-year softball coach: He got to witness his own senior complete a no-hitter on the biggest stage in Washington high school athletics — the WIAA Class 4A championship game.
