Following last week’s 3A Metro League loss to top-ranked O’Dea, No. 4 Eastside Catholic is set to host Ballard in Week 5. (Lauren Smith / VarsityWA)

It’s Week 5 of the 2025 high school football season in Washington, and VarsityWA will be tracking results for the updated all-classification Top 25.

Check back throughout the weekend for scores, game details and what’s on tap next week.

1. O’Dea (3A)

Defeated Bishop Blanchet, 45-0

RB Uriah Stringfield back in saddle with 135 rushing yards, 51-yard TD on first carry.

Next week: vs. Garfield, 7 p.m. Friday

2. Gonzaga Prep (4A)

Defeated Lewis and Clark, 47-6

RB Jonah Keller (TD in every game) putting together quiet all-state caliber season.

Next week: at Shadle Park, 7 p.m. Thursday

3. Lake Stevens (4A)

Defeated No. 16 Glacier Peak, 49-14

An opening 94-yard TD scoring drive took wind out of Grizzlies’ sails immediately.

Next week: at Jackson, 5 p.m. Friday

4. Eastside Catholic (3A)

Defeated Ballard, 60-6

RBs Nick Jones and Cayden Pili (rushing TDs vs. Ballard) nice 1-2 combination.

Next week: vs. Roosevelt, 7 p.m. Friday

5. Mount Tahoma (3A)

Defeated Lincoln of Tacoma, 28-7

Run game effective, but biggest story was how defense put pressure on QB Sione Kaho.

Next week: vs. Bellarmine Prep, 7 p.m. Friday
