It’s Week 2 of the 2025 high school football season in Washington, and VarsityWA will be tracking results for the updated all-classification Top 25.

Check back throughout the weekend for scores, game details and what’s on tap next week.


1. O’Dea (3A)

Defeated Rainier Beach, 31-16

Monte Kohler relieved “distraction” of record-setting No. 395 is over and done with.

Next week: at Seattle Prep, 7 p.m. Friday


2. Bellevue (3A)

Lost to No. 5 Lake Stevens, 21-14

Big play in run game was bottled up by Viks, but talented sophomores hung in there.

Next week: at Mount Baker, 2 p.m. Saturday


3. Gonzaga Prep (4A)

Defeated Ferris, 51-0

WR Isaiah Docken had one of the best one-handed catches you will ever see in a game.

Next week: vs. Mount Spokane, 7 p.m. Friday


4. Chiawana (4A)

Defeated Kamiakin, 15-3

Defensive coordinator might look different, but amoebic swarm on offenses does not.

Next week: at Hermiston (Ore.), 7 p.m. Friday


5. Lake Stevens (4A)

Defeated No. 2 Bellevue, 21-14

Settled down in second half and slowly wore Bellevue down with RB Jayvian Ferrell.

Next week: at Cascade of Everett, 7 p.m. Friday
